Supporting MultiGeometry from JTS in maps-addon

Hello, is there any plan for adding multi geometries like MultiPolygon, MultiPoint, MultiLineString support to MAPS-ADDON?

I think it’s quite possible that we will add support of these types in future releases.

Hi Gleb,
I’ve the same need.
I imported in postgis some shapefiles of boundaries.
Then I converted in WKT the geometries, and are all resulting in MultiPolygons.
Since the addon is not supporting MultiPolygons, I’ve tried to convert them in Polygons but sadly losing data (so I can’t see nothing at all).
I would need MultiPolygon support… any update on this feature?

We keep on working on new features for the add-on and still have plans for a support of these geometry types. Considering the importance of this feature, we will give it higher priority when planning next releases. I will inform you as soon as there are any updates on this.
