I use the report generator with an docx template. I have a company logo placed in the upper right corner of the template and a PayPal barcode image on the right side, below the price listing. Whenever the report is generated, the position of the images is changed (specially the x-postion). They appear always on the left side of the document. I tried several settings within MS Word, but I was not able to fix the position or the find a setting that keeps the x-position of the image.
Is there a possibility to fix the position of the images or to place them relative to a paragraph and to keep the x-position of the image.
Hi.
Could you please clarify which platform version do you use and what field format for the field which contain image do you set in the report setting?
platform version is 7.2.11. What do you mean with field format. The image was a png image, which I have embedded into the word template. The MS Word version is 2016. If you need the template I can send it to you.
This issue can be solved with placing images into table cells in template.
After report generating with using the template the position of image wasn’t changed.
Here is a screenshot how it looks after reporting:
Example of report template with image is attached here. (46.6 KB)
the positioning within an table works. However, the image is always positionend at the left side of the table cell it is placed in. But this is only a minor issue.
