Framework version 7.1 BETA

Hi everyone,

We have just published the BETA version of the framework release 7.1.

Version 7.1 has a number of significant improvements, mostly in Generic UI:

  • Anonymous access to screens allows you to make a part of your application publicly available

  • Default main and login screens are implemented using the new screens API

  • Composite components

  • Input dialog builder

  • Declarative linking of data components

  • Generic field in the form component

  • Infrastructure for web integration tests

The documentation has been updated too, see Developer’s Manual.

The platform 7.1.0.BETA artifacts are available in both repo.cuba-platform.com and dl.bintray.com repositories, so you will be able to use them easily with a fresh CUBA Studio or CLI.

We are now testing and documenting the new framework and add-ons, and we will greatly appreciate if you test your project with the beta version and let us know about any issues.
