In order to generate documents (let say an invoice) is mandatory to use Cuba Add-ons?
Cuba Reporting Add-on makes very easy creating reports using templates: Jasper, excel, DOCs, etc, and access to them. But you can use directly itext pdf library or html to create your reports. Take in count, in this case, you will need to develope everything from scratch.
